Adding a touch of lemon juice to the liquid from boiled red cabbage will make it more red than blue. Adding the boiled egg in now will give a lovely purple shade!
You can really tell the difference when you use prawns with head and shells.

The only effort required is shredding the cabbage. Once you've cleared that, all you have to do is add the sauce and mix well into the cabbage. The result is amazingly delicious.
I simply roasted any vegetables I had, they go well with fish or meat. The key is the dry roasted almonds on top to give an unusual and surprising crunchy texture.
